Common questions
Q: My installment did not arrive. What should I check? Check "Know Your Status" on pmkisan.gov.in. The most common reasons are incomplete eKYC, a bank account not seeded with Aadhaar, or a mismatch between your name on Aadhaar and in land records.
Q: Can both husband and wife get PM-KISAN? No. The benefit is per family (husband, wife, minor children), not per person. Only one member can receive it.
Q: I bought farmland recently. Am I eligible? Eligibility is based on landholding as per state land records. Register with your land documents; the state will verify. Confirm current cut-off rules on the official portal.
Q: Is there any fee to apply? Registration on the portal is free. CSCs may charge a small notified service fee — confirm the current fee at the CSC.
